A Fallout MMO was planned before Fallout 3(Codenamed Van Buren). Although it seems more like a publisher based decision to convert the experience and hope that they can replicate the success of Elder Scrolls Online(let's face it they're only competing with World of Warcraft).

Yes, of course size matters. It's really such a shame, though, isn't it, that some of the things that really matter are things over which we have no control! Curse our species, with its ability to form preferences that don't always match what's available!
